About

Who we are:
Keystone Indivisible is is a local chapter of Indivisible established in Centre County, PA in December 2024.
Our mission:
Keystone Indivisible works to combat authoritarianism, elect progressive candidates, and build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive society. To achieve this mission, we educate the public, organize peaceful actions, promote progressive policies, and collaborate with other organizations to lift up all people who live and work in Centre County.
Our vision:
For all Centre County residents to thrive in an environment that promotes freedom of speech and expression, freedom of worship, and freedom from fear and want.
Our values:
We believe progress can only be made:
– When regular people step up together and raise their voices to advance justice and call out injustice and cruelty.
– Through a strong community, in which members’ talents are valued, and participation and growth are encouraged.
– When we are accountable to our members.
We consider education a vital component of our work, as an informed electorate is essential for a robust and thriving democracy.
We believe all people have a right to participate fully in our democracy, regardless of wealth, gender, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs or sexual orientation, expression or identity.
We act with kindness, joy and conviction.
Keystone Indivisible is comprised solely of dedicated local volunteers who collaborate in their free time. Currently, the organization consists of a volunteer Leadership Team, and a volunteer Action Committee. We are growing, let us know if you want to be involved!
“Activism requires a collective blend of sprinters and marathoners.”
