No Kings

No Kings III

Thank for so much attending No Kings III in State College!!

Can you tell me again, what are some ACTIONS I can take?

Local actions

  • Demand that the State College Borough Council pass an ordinance that prohibits collaboration with ICE.  More information here.
  • Get trained as a Centre County Rapid Responder via their volunteer form here.  The next trainings are on April 16 and on April 30.
  • Join Keystone Indivisible at our upcoming actions and events (all listed here), including a Say NO to War in Iran action (April 9) and a Turn the (Epstein) Files into Trials action (April 25).
  • Learn more about Keystone Indivisible by attending our next monthly meeting (Tues, Apr 14) or filling out an interest form.
  • Raise awareness with CPAU about what the affordability crisis looks like here in Centre County and push local leaders to act, at their Invest in Us event on Sunday, May 3.

Federal actions

Contact our PA Senators to to pass ACA subsidies. The House did so in January, but the Senate has failed to act.  You can simply paste the following into McCormick and Fetterman‘s linked webforms:

  • “As your constituent, I am urging you to take action to extend ACA subsidies that millions of Americans rely on for their access to quality, affordable healthcare. The Senate’s failure to act since the House passed this legislation in January is condemning hard working American families to higher costs, unaffordable premiums, and inaccessible healthcare. Please stand up for the right for all Americans to realize their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness — of which access to affordable healthcare is a critical part.”

Use the wonderfully simple 5calls app (Android Google play, Apple App store) to contact your legislators and tell them:

  • NO WAR WITH IRAN: Congress cannot allow Trump to start and exploit devastating geopolitical conflicts for his own benefit.
  • Oppose the SAVE America Act: There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud. The SAVE Act is designed to block eligible people from voting, not to protect elections.

Do you want to know more about other organizations you have heard about at this event?

Keystone Indivisible (website): local chapter of Indivisible established in Centre County, PA in December 2024. We work to combat authoritarianism, elect progressive candidates, and build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive society. To achieve this, we educate the public, organize peaceful actions, promote progressive policies, and collaborate with other organizations to lift up all people who live and work in Centre County.

Centre County Rapid Response Network (volunteer form, FB, IG): a community defense project protecting immigrant communities against deportation threats.

Central Pennsylvania United (website): building independent, progressive political power in Central Pennsylvania.

Justice Singers (website): singers who meet monthly for a community social justice singalong and who lead songs at protests, rallies, community action events, meetings, and more in State College and Central PA.

In 2025, millions of Americans came together in nonviolent protest at the first and second No Kings events to oppose the growing authoritarian actions of the Trump administration and affirm that: this nation belongs to its people, not to kings.

Since then, people have continued to rise up nonviolently against the Trump administration’s ongoing brutality and abuses of power, including the latest escalation in Minnesota.

On Saturday, March 28, join Keystone Indivisible again in State College to rally and march from 1-3:00 p.m. for collective action!  Bring a sign, and bring a friend!

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Do you have questions before the event begins?

How do I get to this event in downtown State College?

We are expecting a large crowd for No Kings III (at No Kings II in October, there were 3,000+ attendees).  Please consider carpooling or taking public transit if at all possible.

You can find bus schedules here on the CATA website.

You can find parking garage information here on the Downtown State College website, and a map is shown directly below starring where our event is located.

Do you want to participate, and have mobility issues?

Please note the closest drop-off point to the event is behind Old Main, on Pollock Road.  There is as paved sidewalk leading to Old Main Lawn.  Some folks bring chairs with them so they don’t have to stand during the rally – please feel free to do this!  We will have a designated area close to the steps of Old Main.

PSU has a great map here showing accessible parking spaces on their campus.

You are also very welcome to participate in the rally virtually.  We will be livestreaming the event from 1-3:00pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Centre County (780 Waupelani Dr, State College, PA 16801), which is an accessible location.

Please feel free to check out the below video for some helpful tips, prior to attending.

You can find additional resources, such as a Know Your Rights guide, here.

Will this event be family friendly?
Yes!  We are offering face painting, button-making, and are hosting costume and sign contests on the Keystone Indivisible Facebook and Instagram pages.

Do you have questions during the event?

Can I have access to the chants the Justice Singers will lead during and after the march?

Yes! Please click here.
